Evaluation 5:
Narrative over youtube annotations:
Script:
Marketing helps to attract audiences because it entices them to see the film. We marketed our film opening on Facebook where we put a post up. We also made our own 'Undercover' Facebook account.
We created our own YouTube channel where we uploaded our videos to and then embedded these links onto our blogs. As a lot of people tend to download or stream films online, by having our film online this made people more aware of our film.
We watched trailers of films which are similar to our idea to be able to add in characteristics of a thriller film.
Script:
- The whispering at the beginning of the film creates an ery and mysterious sound to introduce the beginning of the film. This attracts thriller and horror fans because of the mystery and suspense.
- For the titles the style of the titles would appeal to our audience as it is intriguing and eye-catching. This is because it attracts the male audience that like action as they are jumpy and flashing.
- We used everyday items in the sequence such as a suit and pill bottles, which the audience is able to relate to and begins to get the idea of what the girl at the beginning uses each day.
- The whispering stops once the titles stop and shows the girl from the beginning of the titles again. This shows the audience that the main character will be this girl but unaware whether she is a antagonist yet. This relates to the audience as people are able to identify with mentally unstable characters.
- Wiping away the makeup shows she is changing her identity.
- Walking into the bathroom, stumbling, her make up is smudge with a smile, suggesting that she has or will be up to something not good. She is now noticed as the antagonist of the film, she moves the story along.
- A close up shot is used to see her make up, the camera is positioned as if she is still looking in the mirror. On her arm is a tag to show she has recently got out of a mental ward or a hospital. This intrigues the audience.
- Foley for scissors cutting her hair to show she is changing her identity.
- See her with different hair, still in the bathroom pulling out her I.D to show she was to change who is is. As you are able to see her reflection in the mirror, you can see her facial expressions.

Evaluation 3:
Directors Commentary:
What does a production company do?
Helps the project become from project into completiton. They are the ones who are ultinately responsiable for it. They gain the fame and financial awards for the film. They draft out the business proposal and pitch this to the studios. They maike up the budgets. Responsible for hiring the key characters in the film. Chcking everything stays on budget, on target and on task to all be completed well for the deadline. Postproduction take the responsibility when taking the final cut into the studio. They mainly have to fund the production or get funding through a parent company, partner or private investigator.
Why the various people are named in the titles- which jobs appear in titles and in what order and how have you reflected this?
The title sequence of a film is the artistic showcase and creative design and illustration as well as helping you to identify the film and get an idea of what is going happen. Various people are named in the titles because this creates a professional look to the title sequence. Although there were only three of us in the group creating the film, adding more names and titles that would be involved when making the filming are included for this reason. Connie played the main actress in the opening sequence, when her picture came up I put her name beside it. As we used props in the title sequence, my name and Chloe's name were added in without a specific picture relating to our roles in the film making. The names came up in order of importance and in order of appearance.

Evaluation 1:
Question 1: The title of the film, font, style, effects
How the characters are introduced:
Camera Work and Editing:
The title of the film is Undercover because the main actress and focal point of the story she is acting undercover from killing her best-friends boyfriend.
I looked upon the website Da.Font to see which font fits the style and theme of my film.
As we decided to write the title of the film in lipstick onto a mirror, I then had to try and match up this same handwriting font from an existing font; to make the title sequence flow correctly.
The style and effects were thought of by using props that are used throughout the main story of the film, such as rolled out bandages in the title sequence which was reused in the main part of the opening story to show that she was trying to change her identity so none suspected she was a woman. Also, in the beginning part of the title sequence, you are able to get an idea that Connie the main actress may have mental problems by the way in which she is positioned, her appearance and her straight jacket costume.
I decided to add an effect over the title sequence to make it more interesting and intriguing for the audience. I applied this by adding final cut, by dragging and dropping the effect over the top of section I wanted.
I was then able change the settings of the effect to make it my own and I added a different or close up image in the middle of a bigger title to make it jump to create the jump of a thriller. I decided to keep the rest of the opening sequence without being jumpy for it to be able to flow and for the audience being able to follow the story. I added the same effect I used on the jumping title sequence over the mirror to make it look as if it had just been smashed.
The characters are introduced starting off with Connie as she is the focal point of the story and moves the story on.
Camera work and editing. The camera work was filmed by using stills for the title sequence. For the title when writing the lipstick on the mirror, I recorded this as Connie was writing slowly. In the editing I then sped this up by using the editing on final cut to make it snappy and powerful to start off the section of the opening sequence.
