Evaluation of shoot
In my opinion, the first shoot went well, however the weather conditions when shooting in the Dartford toilets was freezing which had make the shoot uncomfortable. We found that the toilets were very small and it was quite hard to manoover around to get the perfect shots. The shoot at my house seemed to go better and we worked together well.
Learning to crop on final cut
In a few of the shots, I decied I wanted to crop them down becuase you were able to see a part of the camera in the reflection of the mirror. In another scene there was a white board and pen which was accidently left in the shot which I wanted to crop out of the frame. I was unsure of how to do this so I looked onto a YouTube clip.

Editing Week 2 - What I learnt
This week in editing my individual cut, I learnt how to use the 'razor blade' tool as a quicker way to cut down a scene without having to put in the 'input' and 'output' markings again. This week I began to be brutal with my edit and severly cut down some of the scenes to create it into an elipsis. This becomes sharp and choppy for the audience to follow easily and not become bored.
Editing Week 1 - What I learnt
This week in editing I learnt how to put which scenes in which order to create a good thriller film. I also played around with the length of the fottage and decided where the best place was to put the inpoint and outpoint on the scene to cut it down slightly and to make it flow effectively. I've realised that you do not have to have a lot of fottage to tell the story effectively.
Roles Of the Shoot
For our shoot for 'UnderCover' each of us undertook different roles to make the day run smoothly.
I shot all of the scenes on both days appart from the out of focus dead body shot, which was shot by Connie. Connie set up the camera and trypod. Chloe carried out the lighting. To doccument the shoot we took photos of the location and the setting up of props and in action; these are on our group blog.

Editing Of Film - Final Cut Pro Pictures
I decided to doccument the editing of my thriller film by taking screen captures as I was going along.
At the beginning of the project before I began my 'Inpoint' and 'Outpoint's with my shot list on the top left hand side to start.
Deleting certain scenes I do not wish to keep
Comparing which scene is the better one to use in my film.
Realising that I did not want my clip as long as that, cutting it out to move the other scenes back up. The green section is the music which I do not need as we are making our own. I deleted this by pressing the 'backspace' bar.
In the process of working out how to crop a clip.
Adding in the inpoints and outpoints of the scene which I wanted to be in my film. Press 'I' on the keyboard for input and 'O' on the key board for output. They are the two blue lines on the right hand screen.
Topright hand side is the avaliable tools in which we can use for the editing process.
Double clicking on the top left hand side on the icon of an individual clip to get the clip up on the right hand side to see the edit in which I created play. This helps to see what you want to change.
Process of cropping the clip to get the whiteboard out of the shot without making the edit obvious to the audience.
Once this frame comes up, I put my curser on the corner of the inside square to crop out the bit I didnt want. I then had to put my curser on the corner of the outside square to get rid of the black background which means lining up the shot to fit the screen.
Adding in a shot to the middle of the sections.
I decided I wanted to change the rotation of the gun and I went onto 'Image-wireframe' and on the top right hand square I hovered my curser until a circle with an arrow on the end came up and I then pull the picture around.
Using the 'Razor tool' to easily cut out sections of the shot which I do not want.
