Log and Capturing Title Sequence
Steps of log and capturing:
Checking the film was batch capturing and the clips were being saved as I loggedd tehm. To log them you must double click on the right hand side shot and the slip will come up in the middle screen. you then press 'I' for inpoint (the start of the clip you want) and 'O' for outpoint (when you've got the selected part of the clip.
Press log on the right hand side once you have selected the part of the clip in which you want. You are able to change the name to the logged clip so you can put the clips into order better.

Filming Techniques Video
Shot and Action Schedule for Reshoots
Making sure that the Reshoot day runs effectively as possible I have created a Shot and Action schedule to refer back to to make sure we are keeping on track. The storyboards are also very vital to bring to the shooting.
Foley
Action plan to create foley:
We have the options of recording our own foley or getting sound effects off of the internet.
The foley that we will need includes:
-Smashing of the mirror
-The tap running
-Walking away of girl in heels
-Footsteps towards mirror
-Scissors snipping the hair
-Drip throughout the second scene
-Rustling of clothing
-Plastic bag rustling
-Swinging of gate
From filming we already have:
-Smashing of the mirror
-Plastic bag rustling
-Swinging of gate

Test Shots
When planning our final Thriller opening we needed to get photo's of the actors we will be using. In the opening scene we are introduced to two of the main characters. Here are the photo's of the actors:
Actor 1- Detective:
Actor 2- Psycho Girl:
Actor 1- Detective:
Actor 2- Psycho Girl:
I choose Actor 1 to play the detective as he looks very business-like in a suit which suits the character. The actor's name is Ben and he also has a lot of previous acting experience.
I chose Actor 2 to play psycho-girl because she has scary eyes and in our sequence there is a emphasis on the eyes. She looks rather old which is bonus because the characters are in there mid 20's. I know that Actor 1 who's name is Connie has lots of previous acting experience which is important when making our sequence look professional.

Communication; Actors
In order to film our sequence we have to find some actors. I asked my friend Ben King to play the detective by text.
This is the exact conversation:
Katie: ''Ben, will you act in our media Thriller opening sequence? We're filming over the 14th and 15th of January. You'd be needed for two days, a rehearsal day and a shooting day?"
Ben: "What do you need me to do?"
Katie: "I need you to act as a detective, who has been shot. The locations are in West hill and Central Dartford."
Ben: "Sure, of course i will"
Katie:"Thank you! I will inform you when I find out the times"

After Effects
I have learnt how to use After Effects at a bigenner level which was very interested as I found out how to make the title sequence look professional and expensive.
